Con-Fusion 2023: Weird and Wild West

Con-Fusion 2023: Weird and Wild West

It’s the last round up for our Con-Fusion events as we ride off into the sunset with Western and Steampunk adventures!

Learn about Native American art and techniques provided in partnership with the Heard Museum, while teens explore their creativity with book page dirigible mobiles. The whole gang can help bring in the bad guys in a scavenger hunt for Ironwood Library’s fictional Most Wanted.

We’ve rounded up the best of Arizona’s local Western and Steampunk authors to show their hand to aspiring writers and fans looking to wrangle genre tropes and pitfalls. Hear their tales at 10:00, 1:00 and 3:00, then pull up a chair in the “Author Lounge” to learn even more about their books.

Be sure to shop through our main street market vendors for signed copies of books from our featured authors, as well as art from local Western, Southwestern and Steampunk artisans to take a bit of the wild and the west home with you.

Cosplay is encouraged, but please leave weapons at home.
