OUR STREETS, OUR WORDS // A Collaborative Teen Poetry Workshop

OUR STREETS, OUR WORDS // A Collaborative Teen Poetry Workshop

This National Poetry Month, join us for OUR STREETS, OUR WORDS, an informal, collaborative poetry workshop for teens living in the Phoenix metro area. We’ll generate poems together by using (and subverting!) the language we find written into street signs, maps, and place names. This is a chance for us to write OUR city OUR way! No experience needed, just a willingness to explore without judgement in collaboration with others. All participants will receive a “spatial poetry” starter kit and will be invited to share their thoughts and creations during the workshop. We can’t wait to experiment together!

Program registration is required. To sign up, please fill out the form below.
