Thursday Maker Hour: 3D Printer Lab with TinkerCad
Join us at MACH1 for Thursday Maker Hour: 3D Printer Lab with TinkerCad. This month we're exploring Art and Design!
Want to learn to 3D model and print your own work of famous architecture? Join us this week to learn how to design your very own miniature Parthenon! This program is for families with children ages 8 and up, and will be split into two portions, 3D Modeling with Tinkercad, and 3D Printer Lab. Registration encouraged but not required. Space is limited, first come first served.
4:00 - 5:00 pm: 3D Modeling with Tinkercad. Learn the basics of 3D Modeling to design your own miniature Parthenon using Tinkercad, an online 3D Modeling website. 3D Modeling is also used for video game design, animation and more! Participants will need a free Tinkercad account.
5:00 - 6:00 pm: 3D Printer Lab. Learn the ins and outs of our 3D printers and how to print your creation from class or another model of your own design.
