Thursday Maker Hour: 3D Printer Lab with TinkerCad
Join us at MACH1 for Thursday Maker Hour: 3D Printer Lab with TinkerCad.
Start class by drawing a picture of your favorite character or an item that you choose. We then will exchange drawings and do our best to recreate those drawings in a 3D space to simulate a working 3D design production pipeline, taking your art to the next level! This program is for children ages 8-17 and their families.
Registration Encouraged for 2:00 - 3:00 pm: 3D Modeling with Tinkercad. Learn the basics of 3D Modeling to design your own creation using Tinkercad, an online 3D Modeling website. 3D Modeling is also used for video game design, animation and more! Participants will need a free Tinkercad account.
No Registration Required for 3:00 - 4:00 pm: 3D Printer Lab. Learn the ins and outs of our 3D printers and how to print your model or another model of your own design.
