Solar Eclipse Storytime

Solar Eclipse Storytime

Join us at Ironwood Library on October 14th from 9:15 am to 10:30 am for our Solar Eclipse Storytime! Participants ages 17 and under will receive eclipse viewing glasses to safely view the Solar Eclipse during this program, while supplies last. Learn about the science of eclipses with captivating stories about the sun and moon and an eclipse-themed craft at the end.

Who’s it for? Children, birth to age five, and their favorite grownups

What will you do? Play, read, sing, and dance with your children in a fun, active program that builds reading skills.

What is your child learning? Children who love books and stories become better readers.

Space is limited. Free tickets are required and available 30 minutes before program start time at the Information Desk.

Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirst.org.
