Summer Reading Event: Take a Hike, Do it Right

Want to step outside and discover the magic of the land? Start a hike on a popular trail to conquer new heights? Unsure of where to start? Let’s Take a Hike, Do it Right! Learn about how to stay safe on our trails within the City of Phoenix while getting insight from experienced Park Ranger.

In this program we will learn about the specific areas available for a hike with difficulty ratings, mountain rescue performance, signage to follow to prevent getting lost, heat awareness during the year, keeping our furry friends safe on trails, and the implemented Take a Hike, Do it Right campaign with 8 steps to follow for your safety outdoors.
