Indigenous Peoples' Day PHX Fest Film Screenings

Indigenous Peoples' Day PHX Fest Film Screenings

Presented by Cahokia PHX and Indie Film Fest

Join us for an afternoon of film screenings to celebrate and explore Indigenous cultures through the lens of moving pictures. Every project has been carefully selected to provoke thought, inspire dialogue, and promote cultural understanding. Our feature film is “Imagining the Indian: The Fight Against Native American Mascoting”. This award-winning film made the Washington Post’s evolving critics’ list of 2023’s best films and we’re proud to share this with our local community.

Come for the films, stay for the short panel discussion that will follow afterwards. For more information, visit our website http://ipdphx.com.
