Thursday Maker Hour: Cosmic Eclipse Crafts

Thursday Maker Hour: Cosmic Eclipse Crafts

Join us at MACH1 for Thursday Maker Hour: This month our Maker Focus is Spooky Exploration

At Thursday Maker Hour: Cosmic Eclipse Crafts, gear up to celebrate the annular Solar Eclipse on October 14th by making fun sun and moon-related crafts! Learn about the science of eclipses and the difference between total and annular solar eclipses. Create a solar eclipse paper model and chalk art. Additionally, learn about the monthly phases of the moon by making a lunar phase craft. From solar eclipses to the new moon to the full moon and everything in between, uncover the secrets and significance of solar eclipses and lunar cycles.

This program is a walk-in program for all ages. Participants ages 17 and under will receive eclipse viewing glasses to safely view the Solar Eclipse on Saturday, October 14th, while supplies last.
