Tres Rios Wetlands

Tres Rios Wetlands

Tres Rios is a constructed wetland in the heart of the Valley. Its 700 acres of lush green areas in and around the Salt River are home to 150 different species of birds and animals that live among the cottonwood groves, willows, mesquites and reed-lined ponds and trails. The manmade facility has many uses including the treatment of reclaimed water from the Waste Water Treatment Plant. Learn about the importance of this scenic riparian habitat, a wonderful spot to enjoy migratory and wintering songbirds. Presented by the City of Phoenix Water Services Department. Space is limited. Free tickets are required and available at 11:00am at the Information Desk on the day of the program.
