Happy Birthday, Daniel Tiger! A Mister Rogers ToddlerTime

Happy Birthday, Daniel Tiger! A Mister Rogers ToddlerTime

All week, we're celebrating Mister Rogers, who was the host of Mister Rogers Neighborhood, and the inspiration behind Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, a current and popular PBS show and book series.  Join us for a special storytime celebrating our friends, Mister Rogers and Daniel Tiger!  We will sing, read stories, build our early literacy skills, just like we do in ToddlerTime, but with extra activites and birthday related crafts. Show up early for a good seat!

Who’s it for? Toddlers ages 24-36 months and their favorite grownups

What will you do? Toddlers like to GO, GO, GO, so bring them to the storytime that’s fast and fun. ToddlerTime has stories, songs and games that help beginning talkers.

What will your toddler learn? Toddlers are learning new words every day! Help them build their vocabulary with stories, songs and rhymes. Your toddler also will learn to take turns, play with others, and communicate with adults and other children as they take part in this interactive program.

Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirst.org.
