Summer Reading Event: PHXJazz

Summer Reading Event: PHXJazz

This dynamic concert offers a toe-tapping romp through the world of funky/soul jazz! Bringing together a variety of groove-based music from the 1960s and 70s.  PHXJAZZ shares hits from the era when instrumental jazz featured the sounds of artists such as Lou Donaldson and Donald Byrd and their blues-oriented, soul-infused songs.  Space is limited.  Program sponsored by Maricopa County Library District as part of Maricopa County Reads, the summer reading program at the library.

Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Game, it's for all ages! Prizes include free books and other great giveaways. Registration begins May 1. Start logging your reading on June 1. Game ends August 1.  To sign up, click here!
