Crafterwork: Lino Block Print Party for Adults
Join us in MACH1 for a Lino Block Printing Party filled with fun and creativity! A linocut, or lino print, is a type of block printing. To make one, you carve a design into a linoleum block, roll block printing ink or paint on it and print it on any material you would like.
Lino blocks and carving tools will be provided while supplies last. Stencils will be available for those seeking inspiration on what to print, or you can carve a design of your own creation! We encourage attendees to bring items they would like to print on - tote bags, t-shirts, jeans, journals, cards, anything you might want to try. MACH1 will have a limited supply of tote bags available for patrons. There will also be a supply of paper for paper prints.
This program is open to Ages 18+ and all skill levels. Supplies available on a first come, first served basis. Lino blocks, carving tools, paper, acrylic paint, a limited amount of tote bags, and stencils will be provided for the program. At the end of the program, you are free to keep your Lino Block and take it home with you!
