Summer Reading Event: Water-Wise Reptiles and Amphibians of Arizona

Summer Reading Event: Water-Wise Reptiles and Amphibians of Arizona

Join the City of Phoenix Water Conservation Office to learn how reptiles and amphibians (together: herptiles) adapt to their desert environment, and how we can too! This presentation covers Sonoran Desert basics, the Desert Mindset, water resources and conservation, and an intro to ecology.

Join in a game to determine which reptile or amphibian will survive desert environmental conditions best for a chance to win coloring and activity books, stickers, stuffed animals, and other prizes.

Take the Phoenix Mayor’s Save Water Pledge after to show how you can be PHX Water Smart!

Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Game, it's for all ages! Prizes include free books and other great giveaways. Registration begins May 1. Start logging your reading on June 1. Game ends August 1.  To sign up, click here!
