New! Mesquite Youth Book Club

New! Mesquite Youth Book Club

Book clubs aren’t just for grownups! If you are entering grades 2nd through 4th this fall, come hang out with us as we read and discuss some of the fun books that are part of Phoenix Public Library’s Great Children’s Book Collection.

Book discussion improves critical thinking and reading comprehension skills; it’s also fun and a great way to meet fellow book lovers!

*Please note: Grownups are not required to attend, but should remain in the library for the duration of the book club meeting.

For the month of July, we will discuss Beezus and Ramon by Beverly Cleary. Get prepared by reserving a copy today!

July book club meetings will take place on Wednesday, July 10th and 17th at noon.
