Taking a Road Trip Back in Time: Origins of the Maryvale Community and the 1950's
Join us for a trip down memory lane to explore the origins of the Maryvale Community in the 1950s and the important role of real estate developer and philanthropist John F. Long. Guest speaker Steve Schumacher, who was named Official Historian by Mayor Kate Gallego, will be giving an informative presentation and slideshow. Music from the 1950s will be featured, along with light refreshments.
