Sit, Stay, Read!

Sit, Stay, Read!

Read to a dog -- therapy dogs love to listen to stories! Our friend, Simon, a Golden Retriever, will be waiting for you at the library. It will make him so happy to hear you read books! Bring your own book or take one from our shelves and spend some time with Simon. Reading aloud to certified therapy dogs is an excellent, fun way for emerging readers to practice their skills!

Tickets are required for the ten minute read-aloud sessions and will be available at the Youth Desk at 3:30 pm, on a first come, first served basis. Caregivers should plan to stay with their children during the read-aloud sessions.
