Come out to the library and draw. Just show up, with a sketchbook or without. We will have materials available for you either way. Participants are welcome to draw whatever their heart desires. Want to draw your observations looking out our beautiful windows? Brilliant. Wish to draw from our still lifes set up? Lovely. Bring a friend or two. Led by local artist Aileen Martinez, known as Look See Draw. We want to encourage adults to get creative, so workshop is geared for 18+

Aileen Martinez is a Phoenix-based, Chicana artist who creates colorful drawings of places around the Valley and the City of Phoenix. The artist chooses to work in social spaces such as cafes and restaurants. These locations act as her public studio. She also works with the public to make special commissions, drawing people's homes and places that they find special and dear. She believes in art's ability to be an expressive outlet that has the power to build empathy and bridge communities.
