Employment Resource Spotlight: St Mary's Food Bank Skills Center

Join St. Mary's Food Bank on-site to learn about two employment resource programs that provide vocational training and certifications for Food Service or the Warehouse industry. Learn about the programs (listed below), ask questions, and get assistance with applying.

LIFT Program (Warehouse industry):

  • 6-week warehouse training program, provided by St. Mary's Food Bank.
  • Warehouse training at NO COST
  • Career advisement and one-on-one job coaching
  • CLA (Certified Logistics Association)
  • Certification Transportation assistance (bus passes)
  • Daily meals and weekly food boxes; Uniforms
  • A new class starts every three weeks.

Community Kitchen Program (Food Service):

  • 9-week program
  • Culinary training at NO COST
  • Career advisement and one-on-one job coaching
  • National Restaurant Association ServSafe Certification
  • First aid and fire safety
  • Transportation assistance (bus passes); Uniforms
