Summer Reading Event: The Colors of Music

Summer Reading Event: The Colors of Music

Music is described as having colors. The "color" of a cello, for instance, are deeper than those of a mandolin. Music from different times and regions have colors of their own. This program explores how color keeps music interesting -- including with some songs that include colors in their titles! Program sponsored by Maricopa County Library District as part of Maricopa County Reads, the summer reading program at the library. Seating is limited.

Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Game, it's for all ages! Prizes include free books and other great giveaways. Registration begins May 1. Start logging your reading on June 1. Game ends August 1.  To sign up, click here!
