Papel Picado Workshop

Papel Picado Workshop

Join us for a hands on workshop crafting papel picado. Papel Picado is the ancient art of folding and cutting colored tissue papers. For hundreds of years, this ancient craft has been used as decorations for Dia de los Muertos in Mexico. This craft will be taught by Carmen Guerrero, an arts educator, musician, and co-founder of the arts organization Cultural Coalition. 

Registration required. Burton Barr Central Library, Pulliam Auditorium, 1st floor.
