Teen Driving Safety

Teen Driving Safety

Phoenix Children’s Teen Driving Safety Program is dedicated to keeping young drivers safe on the road through community outreach and hands-on, interactive education. We work directly with teens and their families to provide the knowledge and tools needed to build safe, confident driving habits from the start.

Our classes and community presentations cover a wide range of essential driving topics, including: Seatbelt Safety, Distracted Driving, Driving in various weather conditions, Emergency Situations, and prep Arizona’s Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) Laws. Our goal is to reduce teen motor vehicle crashes—the leading cause of death for teens—by engaging youth in meaningful, age-appropriate education before and after they get behind the wheel. Whether you're a new driver or a caregiver of a new driver, our program is here to support safer roads for everyone.

Teens ages 14-18 who are interested in getting their driver’s permit/license, teens who already have their permit/license, and guardians and family members of participating teens are encouraged to attend this Teen Driving Safety session.
