Whatever You're Feeling is Okay! A Mister Rogers Music & Movement Storytime
Join us for a very special Music & Movement during Mister Rogers Week! In addition to singing, reading and building our literacy skills, we will be celebrating our feelings and how we can deal with and express our emotions.
Fred Rogers was an American television host, author, and producer of Mister Rogers Neighborhood on PBS, from 1968 to 2001. Each episode was a visit with young viewers exploring early childhood themes through his interaction with friends and neighbors and through puppet stories set in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Mister Rogers Neighborhood was the inspiration for the beloved PBS show and book series, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
Who’s it for? Wiggle worms, birth to age five, and their favorite grownups
What will you do? Some people learn better when they are moving. If that sounds like your child, this is the storytime for you! Sing, dance and MOVE in this fun, active program that builds reading skills.
What is your child learning? Children who love books and stories become better readers.
