Afternoons at Ocotillo: Daniel Tiger's Puppet Making Workshop

Join us for an afternoon of kids activities--playing tabletop games, making crafts, exploring STEAM activities, and more!

Help celebrate Mister Rogers Week by creating your own puppets! Create a tiger puppet or the whole neighborhood of finger puppets to honor Mister Rogers.

Fred Rogers was an American television host, author, and producer of Mister Rogers Neighborhood on PBS, from 1968 to 2001. Each episode was a visit with young viewers exploring early childhood themes through his interaction with friends and neighbors and through puppet stories set in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.  Mister Rogers Neighborhood was the inspiration for the beloved PBS show and book series, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

This program is supported by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library.
