Resume Writing Workshop
Writing a resume is a crucial task that all of us have to do at some point - but what do you really need to know to write a good resume? How much does the formatting really matter? How do you get your resume past automated screening systems to make sure an actual person gets a chance to see it?
We go over these questions and many more. Whether you are just starting with a blank sheet of paper and the motivation to get a job, are working on adjusting an existing resume to match a new job opportunity, or are re-entering the workforce after some time away, we are here to help. We will go over different formats for all levels of experience, and show you how best to highlight your own unique talents.
Bring your work history if you can when you attend the class, so when you sit down to put it all together, you have all the information you need.
Presented in partnership with ARIZONA@WORK City of Phoenix.
