Mister Rogers Week at Desert Broom

All week long, Desert Broom Library is celebrating the birthday anniversary of Mister Rogers (March 20, 1928), creator of Mister Rogers Neighborhood and inspiration for Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

We will be presenting Storytimes, (see calendar for details), as well as passive programs and activities, including scavenger hunts, an interactive birthday cake display, letter writing, and more! Join us for the fun!

Fred Rogers was an American television host, author, and producer of Mister Rogers Neighborhood on PBS, from 1968 to 2001. Each episode was a visit with young viewers exploring early childhood themes through his interaction with friends and neighbors and through puppet stories set in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
