Digital Wellness: AI Ethics and Safety

Many people are enthralled with all that generative AI sites like ChatGPT can do. Sure, it can help with things that can make planning a vacation and meal prep a breeze. But what about the darker side of AI? How can you spot "deepfakes" and AI-generated content? How much energy does AI consume with a simple search? How might data centers that are created to power AI affect our communities and resources? How might using AI affect mental health? This program will give an overview of AI ethics, safety considerations, and how AI is already changing society today.
