Mister Rogers Week at Ironwood

All week long, Ironwood Library is celebrating the birthday anniversary of Fred Rogers (March 20, 1928), creator of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood and inspiration for Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

In addition to Mister Rogers-themed Music & Movement storytimes, we will have a Makers' Neighborhood on Saturday, as well as a week-long station where visitors can pick up and fill out Kindness Letters and Kindness Checklists and can add moments of kindness to our community wall.

Fred Rogers was an American television host, author, and producer of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood on PBS from 1968 to 2001. Each episode was a visit with young viewers exploring early childhood themes through his interaction with friends and neighbors and through puppet stories set in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
