AI In Focus: In Schools & Education

What should we know about how schools and universities are using AI in classrooms today? When may it be okay, and when may it not be okay to use AI for learning and education? This program will include a lecture with expert-based guidance about how AI impacts learning and mental health. Additionally, participants will learn about alternative education tools to use instead of AI.

Drop in to the session topic of your choice or join us for all eight sessions of AI In Focus--Ocotillo Library & Workforce Literacy Center and South Mountain Community Library are hosting the series. Test your knowledge, engage in discussion, and grab take-home resources about how to navigate and thrive in a world where AI is around us. Tech safety tools and swag may be available in the session while supplies last.

Do you require an accommodation to participate in a Phoenix Public Library program, service, or activity? Call 602-262-4636, TTY 711, or submit your request in person or through Ask Us at least 14 business days before the event.
