Rainbow Storytime

Rainbow Storytime

Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Rainbow Storytime Online!

Who’s it for? Children, birth to age five, and their favorite grownups. An adult must participate onscreen with their child at all times.

What will we do?  Read books focused on LGBTQ+ characters and authors and sing and dance to rhymes and songs that celebrate diversity and inclusion! This week we are talking about families! Come celebrate your unique family with us. Play, read, sing, and dance with your children in a fun, online program that builds social and emotional skills.

What will we learn? Learning about our diverse community builds social and emotional skills and children who love books and stories become better readers.

Support for early literacy programs is provided by a grant from First Things First, which partners with families and communities to give all Arizona children the opportunity to arrive at kindergarten healthy and ready to succeed. Learn more at FirstThingsFirstAZ.gov.
