Effective February 28, 2022, City of Phoenix lifted the face mask requirement for those visiting and/or attending programs within City of Phoenix facilities and Phoenix Public Library locations. City of Phoenix follows CDC Guidelines for reducing COVID risk. Should the risk level in Maricopa County increase to a high category, masking requirements will be reinstated. Attendance at in-person programs continues to be reduced to accommodate physical distancing. Thank you for understanding.

LGBTQ+ Pride Flag Exhibit

LGBTQ+ Pride Flag Exhibit

The City of Phoenix LGBTQ Employee Alliance has partnered with Burton Barr Central Library to showcase a LGBTQ+ Pride Flag exhibit featuring 22 pride flags that embody different aspects of the LGBTQ+ community. The Rainbow Pride Flag is the most identifiable symbol of Pride, but more than 20 LGBTQ+ flags represent different sexualities and gender identities within the broader queer community and their allies.
