The Life and Works of William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare, also known as the Bard of Avon, is an English poet, writer, and actor. He is regarded by many as the greatest dramatist of all time. This program will explore Shakespeare’s life and works, including his histories, tragedies, comedies, and sonnets. Attendees will have the opportunity to view rare works archived in Burton Barr Central Library’s Rare Book Room, including plays dating back to the 17th Century.
