Teen Advisory Council

Teen Advisory Council

The Teen Advisory Council will meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month (except December) from 5PM to 6PM beginning September 27th.

Phoenix Public Library's Teen Advisory Council offers teens ages 14-17 the opportunity to make a positive difference in their communities and provide input regarding library services for teens. Participants will engage in activities and discussions that support the development of teen library programs and resources that fulfill the needs and interests of teens. Participation in the Teen Advisory Council allows teens to observe and engage in civil discourse and bring the benefits of their observations back to library administration.

Teen Advisory Council members earn service hours for attending council meetings, and for hours spent working on programs and projects. Participants leave the Teen Advisory Council with a multitude of experiences to add to their resumes and portfolios for future professional and educational purposes.

If you are interested in making a difference in your community please do not hesitate to apply at phoenix.gov/volunteer.
