Mini Tales

Read to a horse – miniature horses love to listen to stories! A qualified therapy equine will be waiting for you at the library. It will make them so happy to hear you read books! Bring your own book, or take one from our shelves, and spend some time with a mini at Mesquite. Reading aloud to certified therapy equine is an excellent way for emerging readers to practice their skills (and lots of fun, too!) 

Please see the Youth desk about a same-day, 10-minute reading session reservation with a miniature horse! Tickets available 30 minutes before the program.
