Little Bytes: Sorting and Patterns

Little Bytes: Sorting and Patterns

Did you know that children can learn the foundations of coding before they can write and spell?  Learn basic problem-solving skills and new vocabulary for children as young as 4 to give them the building blocks to becoming an excellent coder. Join us for guided activities as we teach your child the basis of code - problem solving! This week we will learn about sorting – to arrange information into groups or separate according to common features, and patterns – finding a link between things, and how these relate to code.

Who’s it for? Children ages 4-7 and their favorite grownups. An adult must participate with their child at all times.

What will you do? In this program, you and your child will play games, do activities, and learn vocabulary words that support basic coding skills.

This program is part of an eight week series and participants are encouraged to attend all eight lessons. Registration is not required, but seats are limited.
