What are the origins of Christian worship music?  Why is it sometimes called “Gregorian chant”?  How was it performed?  Showcasing music fragments from the Burton Barr special collections, musicologist Catherine Saucier uncovers the myths and varied musical practices obscured by the monolithic term “Gregorian.”
